Online Payment Information for
Property Taxes.
Please review the following information before making an online payment!
First, you will need the following items to complete your On-line Property Tax
payment transaction:
- Four Digit Tax Year
- Eight Digit Key Number from your Property Tax Bill
( If you do not have your Property Tax Bill
handy, you can locate your Key Number on the
Tax Search
system.)
Please note that annual tax bills are mailed
out to property owners on October 31st. If you have not received your tax bill by the third week in November, please
contact us by e-mail at tc@co.hernando.fl.us

To Pay by Credit Card
You will need either a valid VISA, Master Card,
Discover or American Express card.

ONLINE
. There is a convenience fee associated
with this service. The convenience fee is minimum of $2 or 2.5% . This
office does not collect or retain any portion of this fee. Our third-party
vendor, Point & Pay charges this fee. The fee is collected and divided between
the credit card companies and Point & Pay, who processes the
transaction.
Point & Pay uses the best encryption technology available. Credit card
information is not passed to any of our government clients and payment data
is passed using hardware encryption.


To Pay by e-Check
You will need a valid
checking account with sufficient funds.

There is a convenience fee associated
with this service. The convenience fee is $1.95 per transaction, if the
payment amount is less than $10,000. There is a convenience
fee of $10 per transaction for amounts over $10,000. This office
does not collect or retain any portion of this fee. Our third-party
vendor, Point & Pay charges this fee.
For e-Check payments you will need your Bank
Routing Number and Bank Account Number ( see diagram for where to locate
this information on your check).
Delinquent taxes can not be paid by E-Check.



NOTICE: Transactions completed on-line do not constitute a valid
registration and/or payment. In order to have a valid transaction, the
on-line transaction must be validated by the Tax Collector's office. On-line
transactions will be validated in the Tax Collector's office the next work
day, following your on-line entry, prior to 5:00 P.M. and the
receipt/renewal will be mailed to you the following work day.
