informal hearings involving contractor licensing regulations, conducts
hearings for appeals of decisions and interpretations of the building
official, and serves as the county-wide compliance review board to
hear appeals as to technical amendments of the Hernando County Construction
Code.

Advisory Task Force for the Small Cities
Community Development Block Grant Program |
PURPOSE: The
purpose of the CDBG Citizens Advisory Task Force is to encourage community
members and residents, particularly low and moderate income persons
who reside in blighted areas of the County, to provide input relative
to all phases of the project process. The members will also assist
local government staff and/or consultant in overseeing the project,
including development of plans, procedures, public hearings and amendments,
if necessary. The positions are open for residents of Hernando County
who are interested in providing input relative to all phases of the
Community Development Block Grant application and process.
