Citizens Advisory Task Force

Community Initiative Teams (CIT’s) are established for the purpose of creating strategic plans to address numerous concerns affecting residents in the unincorporated neighborhoods of Hernando County.

Residents of specific areas collaborate with Hernando County government officials to achieve specific improvement goals.

Community Visioning Workshop Held on April 26th Facilitated by Major Royce Decker, Hernando County Sheriff's Office Part of the Coastal Hernando Initiatives Project (C.H.I.P.) Attended by approximately 100 coastal area residents who contributed many great ideas for the future of the community. A report will be presented at the next C.H.I.P. meeting on May 17th at 9:30 a.m. at the Port Authority Building at Linda Pedersen Park@ Jenkins Creek.
